Everything is ready to start the Montessori training courses in 2026

The heart of the INE beats again this summer with the arrival of new educators to our training center.

There are times of the year when our mission is felt most strongly. Tomorrow is one of those days. From our home in Río Piedras, the Paseo de Diego, and our historic proximity to the University of Puerto Rico, a collective dream will once again become a reality: an accessible, transformative, and world-class education, made by and for Puerto Ricans.

Tomorrow, a new group of teachers will begin their Montessori training without having to leave the island, incur significant expenses, or be separated from their families. This is not just the start of classes; it is an act of love for the country and a step towards social mobility.

This summer, our facultyAcademic Program, comprised of 42 committed and highly prepared academic facilitators, welcomes with deep enthusiasm50 new educators.

Our facilitators take on the role of inspiring, serving as role models, and designing meaningful educational experiences, offering curriculum presentations and providing ongoing support. The facilitator is the guide who walks alongside the educator on their path of transformation.

17 years sowing transformation: The Golden Seal

Throughout our journey, we have learned that when an educator walks through the doors of our Río Piedras headquarters, they take the first step toward school transformation. Our unwavering commitment has allowed us to certify and supportmore than 400 teachersin Puerto Rico, who today serve with excellence in the Montessori environments of our island.

Each of them, upon completing this rigorous process, receives theGolden Seal, a credential that recognizes her Montessori training internationally and puts Puerto Rico's name at the top of the global educational stage.
